Who are The Friends?
The Friends are a volunteer, non profit group made up of community members. Anybody age 18 and up are welcome to join. Members are dedicated to supporting the activities of the Itasca Community Library by fundraising and providing awareness of library services and resources.
What do we do?
The Friends come up with interesting fundraising ideas and support staff in library sponsored events that build stronger community and offer greater opportunities to residents of all ages. We are always looking for new creative projects.
When do we meet?
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month (except for August and December) at 7 p.m at the Itasca Community Library. Annual membership meetings are held in November. If you are unable to attend the meetings but wish to help out, we welcome your participation in assisting us.
